About Exam

The Birla Institute of Technology & Science conducts the BIT Science Aptitude Test (BITSAT) every year. There are three institutions that consider BITSAT scores. This university-level examination is conducted in order to provide admission to UG and PG courses.

Examination and Selection Procedure

Examination will be conducted in fully computer based test mode once in a year. The exam consists of one papers of three hours' duration. 

Eligibility

Candidates should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and adequate proficiency in English.

Admission to all the programmes is subject to the conditions given below

The candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects (if he/she has taken Mathematics in BITSAT) or a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects (if he/she has taken Biology in BITSAT) subjects in 12th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology subjects.

BITSAT 2023 Cut Off

BITSAT 2023 cutoff is expected to be prepared and released soon by the authorities of BITS Pilani. Candidates can check the tentative BITSAT cutoff here available here as per the input of those students who have been allotted into the participating campuses The minimum marks required for higher chances of admission will be available through the BITSAT cutoff 2023. Candidates aspiring for admissions must score equal to or greater than the BITSAT cutoff . However, other factors of BITSAT 2023 will also be considered during seat allotment. While preparing the cutoff of BITSAT 2023, the authorities will check various factors related to the entrance examination.
